Hey everyone, welcome to #writerwednesday (can you believe we have a hashtag now?!?!) This Wednesday I am having a very exciting family day because my precious daughter (my oldest) is GRADUATING High School!
So, I thought it would be a perfect day to feature a fellow writer and let her share a writing tip and her blog with you.
I absolutely LOVE featuring writer’s on our link up and I hope you will check out Cecilia’s Blog – honestly her blog is one of my favorites, including her Instagram account (you can also check her out on Facebook and Pinterest, too!) I love all of the unique items she features and she truly inspires me when it comes to decorating my home!
Now onto this week’s feature writer; and don’t forget to link up your blog at the end of this post!
Feature Writer: Cecilia at My Thrift Store Addiction
Cecilia has such a fun and unique blog, I hope you enjoy this short interview and find some writing inspiration, too!
1. When did you start blogging?
I just celebrated my 4 year blogiversary. I wrote about it here.
2. What is your main purpose for writing?
My hope is to encourage others by my writing. With God’s grace, as a single parent I learned an intentional frugal lifestyle that not only brought me joy but became the inspiration for my book and eventually my blog. I have a passion to share what I have learned with others whether it’s finding contentment as a single parent or how to create a beautiful home for less.
3. Can you share one tip on how you meet your writing/blogging goal? Or how do you find motivation to write when you don’t feel like writing or when you feel too busy to write.
I really try to write only when I feel inspired which might be first thing in the morning on some days and late at night on others. As a home and garden blogger, most of my blog posts feature projects I have upcycled or repurposed from thrift store finds. If I find I am struggling to write, then I focus on completing a project or editing photos instead. Also, I begin every project/blog post with prayer.
